🚀 A New Milestone in India’s Logistics Skilling Journey!

We are proud to announce the successful inauguration of the 3rd Centre of Logistics Training for Excellence (COLTE) in Nagaland, marking another significant step towards building a skilled, future-ready logistics workforce.

Established by Redington Foundation in collaboration with the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC), COLTE Nagaland will provide youth with access to advanced training, upskilling and hands-on learning opportunities, with a special focus on underserved communities.

We are honoured to have Shri. T.R. Zeliang, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, grace the inauguration and support this important initiative towards strengthening skill development and employment opportunities in the logistics sector.

Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) is organising the Southern Region Edition of PRISM – Powering Recognition: India's Skill Movement, a regional conference and recognition platform dedicated to advancing workforce development across the logistics and supply chain sector.

Under the theme "India's Logistics Workforce for Global Competitiveness," the conference will bring together industry leaders, government representatives, policymakers, academia, training partners, assessment bodies, and employers to deliberate on the future of logistics talent, workforce transformation, and industry-led skilling initiatives.

The platform will also recognise organisations making significant contributions towards workforce development, skill enhancement, and employability across the sector.

Bridging Campus to Career: Reimagining Apprenticeships at Government Arts College, Nandanam

What happens when apprenticeships move beyond a statutory requirement and become a strategic bridge between academia and industry?

We recently completed an Apprenticeship Sensitisation Workshop at Nandanam Arts and Science College, organised by the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC).

The session brought together faculty and students to explore how structured apprenticeship models can transform classroom learning into real-world career readiness.

Key Themes & Takeaways from the Session:
Beyond Compliance: Understanding the Apprentices Act while exploring how educational institutions and industries can build robust, scalable apprenticeship frameworks.

Making NAPS Work for Everyone: Leveraging government support, NAPS incentives, and structured pathways to maximise value for both students and employers.

From OJT to Job-Ready Talent: Designing role-specific, on-the-job training (OJT) aligned directly with current logistics and industry requirements.

Building a Sustainable Talent Pipeline: Utilising apprenticeships to bridge the skill gap, improve graduate employability, and support long-term workforce needs.

A sincere thank you to the management, faculty, and enthusiastic students of Nandanam Arts and Science College, as well as our speakers for making this workshop interactive and impactful.
