I started believing in love at first sight when I saw you. Jumping away from the litter and running straight into my arms 11 years ago. Since then, there has not been a single day that I haven’t loved you. I never thought there would be a day you won’t be around and that breaks my heart. A grief I never think I could over come. All your smiles, all your pain, all your judgemental looks (hahahaha) I know you tolerated me because I gave you endless belly rubs 😂. Few days ago you crossed the rainbow bridge and we tried to love you as much as we can with all that we had and I hope you will remember and love us forever. I hope wherever you are they have green meadows for you to run, clear blue skies and lots of papayas ( your favorite fruit) 🍉. We will always love you, champ! ♥️~~~ mom, dad, Bhaiyya and didi 🥺🥰

One last wish for you:
“ Aarzoo hai ki
Tu yaha aaye,
Aur phir umr bhar,
Kahin na jaaye”

Waiting to cross the rainbow bridge 🌈together some day. Benz ~ Jan 2014- September 2025 ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 by @logoleptic1006

In the heart of a quaint village called Ilmenau, serendipity wove a beautiful tale of friendship. Prerna from TU Delft, Netherlands, and I, Siddhi from Junagadh, Gujarat, India, crossed paths unexpectedly while pursuing our dreams. Despite our different worlds, we found a family in each other, bonding over shared experiences and mutual support.

Life’s inevitable journey took Prerna to Belgium for her Ph.D., while I moved to Jena with my husband and our new pet. Amidst the distance, our hearts remained close. Prerna’s visit on my birthday, traveling 10 hours from Brussels to Jena, was the most heartfelt gift. For three days, we reminisced, cooked her favorite meals, and cherished moments with my pet, Foxy, as she missed her own beloved Benz back in Delhi.

The memories we created are now my cherished treasures, yet they also bring a bittersweet ache. I miss our days of shared laughter and tears, our shoulders to lean on. Though miles apart, the bond we built in Ilmenau continues to be a beacon of love and friendship.

Though miles apart, our hearts remain close. Here’s to cherished memories and the power of serendipity! 💖🐾
