: Logonatomy is an ongoing study of the trademarks, logos, and visual identities that shape culture.

Through research, analysis, and documentation, we explore the origins, evolution, designers, and design systems behind the world’s most recognizable marks, from global corporations and cultural institutions to beloved brands across gaming, entertainment, sports, technology, and the arts.

Every logo is a record of decisions, ideas, and history.

Our purpose is to uncover the stories behind them

Because logos are more than symbols. They are cultural artifacts.

Logos are not static objects. They are living artifacts of creativity, shaped by new ideas, new contexts, and new generations of designers. Throughout history, the world’s most recognizable marks have evolved while remaining true to the visual principles that made them memorable in the first place.

Logonatomy exists to examine that process.

As a result, the Logonatomy mark is designed to evolve alongside the subjects it studies.

The core structure remains unchanged:

• The circle
• The horizontal division
• The dark teal and matte black relationship

These elements form the visual DNA of Logonatomy.

From time to time, the mark may appear with new textures, construction lines, artistic treatments, experimental details, or design-inspired variations. Each iteration represents a different lens through which design can be explored while preserving the underlying form that defines the brand.

The variations are not replacements.

They are studies.

A reminder that design is never finished, only refined.

The anatomy changes. The DNA remains.
