Catch Lois Brooks On Mixcloud

Blackpool singer-songwriter @lois_fab brings difficult-to-express emotions into her music. Her latest release, “Red Run”, explores how people cope with stress, anxiety and the feelings they keep to themselves, adding another personal chapter to a catalogue that includes “Blackened”, “Breathe” and “Wasted”.

Having started playing piano at just three and writing songs by eight, Lois has grown up finding ways to turn ideas into music. “Red Run”, released in May 2026, continues that journey, opening a conversation around experiences that often go unspoken.

Away from her recordings, Lois recently performed at @coastalradiodab Local Hero Awards in Blackpool. Invited by @radiopaula, she joined an evening celebrating the causes and people making a difference in their community.

Afterwards, she shared her appreciation for those being recognised, thanking Paula for the invitation and giving credit to the stage crew and sound engineer Alex for their work behind the scenes.

From her earliest piano melodies to original releases and hometown performances, Lois is developing her own musical voice while staying connected to the place where her story began.

I had a great time at the @coastalradiodab local hero awards last night! It's such a great event that highlights so many amazing causes and the people behind the scenes doing good for the community. It was an honour to be asked by @radiopaula to perform on such an awesome stage. Thanks for the opportunity, Paula x. Also, thanks to the stage crew and the sound engineer, Alex, over at @radical_events_ltd for doing a stellar job!
