A big bark out to my favourite bed makers @fidofaves 🐾

I always used to burrow under a blanket to sleep, but being blind now it’s a lil tricky to find a blanket, but my FidoFave bed makes it easy for me to scooch on inside and snooze away!

Thanks for the pawsome customer service Hans, dopey Mom ordered the wrong size (I like to stretch) and he fixed it, all the way from 🇺🇸

Another ailment Frenchies are more prone to than most dogs. Vestibular disease, a sudden loss of balance, disorientation or head tilt. Many dogs become reluctant to stand or walk, or continuous circling in one direction as Lola is doing here.

Some liken the symptoms to that of a stroke and is pretty terrifying to witness. Whilst it can ease off within 24 - 72 hours, and isn’t guaranteed to reoccur, it’s likely in older dogs especially Frenchies.

It isn’t painful for her but obviously unsettling and just another illness French Bulldogs are more prone to. I’m learning more all the time. Another reason to stop promoting this breed. As an owner I obviously love the bones of her but never again will I have a dog go through all these issues which are now so prevalent in the breed.

Here we have Lola Batdogalus basking in her natural habitat.

Having evolved from wolf, to home comfort loving French Bulldog, she completed natural selection through her one white paw.

She has indeed evolved to exploit her conditions, the geography and climate of SW London, and the relationship and bank balance of her ever willing owners.

She defies extinction and is completely unaware of anything else in her surroundings.
(Possibly due to blindness and selective hearing 🙄)
