MASSIVE SURPRISE!
I went over to my great friend Johns @spinellidrums today thinking I was just going to borrow a kit for my gig on Saturday, only to be presented with THE most beautiful kit I have ever seen!
This has been months in the making and I have no idea how everyone managed to keep this a secret. But I want to say a huge thank you!
I will do some more posts on how innovative this kit is in the future but for now watch me cry with happiness!🤣🥁💗💗

Still can’t quite believe this… I’ve been awarded the @percussivearts society Neil Peart Scholarship! 🥁✨

Thank you so much to the judges for deeming my entry worthy of this incredible honour, and to @hudsonmusicofficial for supporting young drummers like me.
Neil Peart has been such a huge inspiration, this scholarship really pushed my drumming boundaries,so this means the world. 🙏

Massive shoutout to @davestarkdrumlab and @spinellidrums for helping me film my submission – couldn’t have done it without you both!

Back with a cover from my favourite band, @ezracollective ! 💖🥁

This is “Jubilee Feeling”, and it’s definitely one of my ultimate favourites at the moment! The groove in this song always has me dancing whenever I listen to it, so I had to give it a go! 🕺🥁

Hope you enjoy! 💖

A slightly different cover today! 💖🥁

My teacher @officialdavestark introduced me to this song as I’ve been wanting to work more on my foot technique and the speed of my doubles, so he shared this one with me!

Such a cool groove with a very different vibe from what I usually play, but I absolutely love it! 🥁✨

Working around with one of my favourite shuffle grooves! 🥁
I’ve been mixing it up by bringing my hi-hat into the fill and giving it a slightly different feel and keeps things interesting! 💖
What do you think?

Starting the weekend off with a bit of Latin! 🥁💖

Ever since I first started exploring Latin and South American styles, I always find myself coming back to them to improvise, experiment and work on new ideas!

There’s just something so much fun about playing these styles! 🥁✨

Just a fun warm-up groove I wanted to share with you all! 🥁💖
For my warm-up, I usually start straight on my drum pad, but I’ve been wanting to extend my warm-ups onto the kit to get more creative again!
What do you think? 💖🥁

Working with different time signatures! 🥁

Here I’m playing a groove in 7 over a 4/4 metronome. This is something a little different from what I’ve tried in the past, but I absolutely love it!

Let me know what time signature I should work with next 💖🥁

Had so much fun last week with back-to-back gigs! 🥁💖
It was such a great experience getting used to playing nightly gigs and feeling confident performing two completely different set lists.
