While in Portugal, we sat down with Professor Roberto Serra at Carlson Gracie Cascais to talk about what jiu‑jitsu really means beyond competition.

Instead of focusing on medals and titles, his passion is teaching, guiding young people, building a strong community and being a positive role model through martial arts.

This conversation gave us a different perspective on what long‑term success in jiu‑jitsu can look like.
