There’s something soo good about a fresh lemon loaf!! You can totally substitute the black berries for blue berries or even raspberries!🫐😋
recipe below!!

-1 cup white sugar
-Zest of 1 lemon
-½ cup olive oil
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-2 tbsp lemon juice
-½ cup greek yogurt
-2 eggs
-2 tsp baking powder
-1 tsp salt
-1½ cups all purpose flour
-2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
-2 tsp sugar, for topping

* Preheat the oven to 350°F and line/grease a loaf pan with parchment paper.
1. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar, lemon zest, olive oil, and vanilla until combined.
2. Add the eggs and whisk until smooth. Mix in yogurt and lemon juice.
3. Ada baking powder, salt, and flour. Mix!
4. Fold in one cup of berries (for black berries I smooshed them down slightly with the whisk
5. Pour evenly into loaf pan then top with additional berries (push them in slightly) and a sprinkle of sugar
6. Bake for one hour or until a toothpick comes out clean
7. Cool for 20 min on a cooling rack, slice, & enjoy!! by @lolamoitoso

We were 18 and 19 when he first told me he was considering the fire service. We are now 22 and 23 and he will officially be serving and protecting the town that raised us both🚒🤍
His job has taught us both so many lessons, and I am so thankful for the man he has become because of it.

Proud will never be a strong enough word to describe the way I feel about you honey!
