I’m so excited to share that this month LOLA’S will be selling a limited edition sweatshirt. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Glioblastoma Research Organization in memory of our Uncle Steve.
He would have celebrated his 56th birthday on April 7th.
This design was created with so much intention. The daisy represents April—his birth month—and the light he brought into the world. The shape of the design is subtly inspired by a brain, honoring those affected by glioblastoma. With May being Brain Tumor Awareness Month, the timing of this idea felt truly meant to be 💛
He fought courageously for 13 months before passing on February 1st. Uncle Steve loved talking about all things LOLA’S—he was always so interested in what my next move would be. My employees knew that when him and Aunt Ro were visiting, I was either leaving early (and maybe even closed once or twice 🤫), or they were stopping by just to chat. Michaella even gave him the nickname “Melanie’s favorite guy.”
We shared such a special relationship that I will cherish forever. I hope I’m lucky enough to have him as my uncle in every lifetime. I miss him every day 🌼
