We welcome @hyphenza and @niems_dnb for the first time, and @lolo_dnb_ returns after her debut in February earlier this year.

Co-founder @sol_pillars holds down the fort.

Presales are only R100 on @airdosh link in bio

We take over room 2 (The Kissa) at @open_source_africa_ , a sound treated room with a banging @kv2.audio rig.

Back at it with the ICFTJ crew. TONIGHT! Always a blessing to be part of this movement ⚡️and it’s even more special sharing the stage with some powerhouse women.

Pull through early to catch some deep liquid vibes from myself. I’ll be paying homage to some of liquid’s iconic forerunners, lates and greats.

Thank you @itcamefromthejungle

Sundays were created for rest, we chose liquid instead. Next weekend kicks off with resident @hyphenza, joined by @lolo_dnb_ and @niems_dnb from the @liminil_dnb crew. Palomas, finger foods and liquid dnb for a cozy Sunday afternoon in the shadow of #tablemountain 💦 taken in Cape Town, South Africa by @lolo_dnb_

Been an interesting few weeks. With a bunch of lows, came an even bigger bunch of highs. Regardless, I have a lot to be grateful for. Bonds strengthened. Intentions clearer. But can I have a nap now pls 😅

BTW: Sadly these are not my pets 🥹 thank you @whatatreatofficial for giving me the gift of pet sitting! by @lolo_dnb_

Happy with our little winter cave at @batanga_capetown . Warm vibes, tasty cocktails, delicious food and low key D&B that’s high key awesome. See you on the 7th of June! taken in Batanga by @lolo_dnb_

We think about the lineup more than anything else.

There’s a moment in every great liquid set where the room stops being a collection of people and becomes something else. You can’t force it. You can’t manufacture it. But you can build the conditions for it, with the right music, the right djs, and a lineup that’s been thought about properly.

Every DJ we book has lived inside this music. Every lineup we put together is a conversation between sounds, between eras, between the people on the floor and the people behind the decks. We think about the sequence, the energy, the arc of a night.

This is our love letter to the culture. Every first Sunday of the month. See you this weekend. ✨ taken in Batanga by @lolo_dnb_

Debuting at Rubricate in 2021, Lolo has steadily built a reputation for delivering carefully curated sets that showcase her love of melodic liquid and deep-rolling Drum & Bass. With her roots deeply planted in the Joburg 2014-2018 drum and bass scene, she honed-in and developed a deep appreciation for that darker, minimal sound that dominated those dancefloors. Cape Town is where that passion deepened. She experimented with production and found a calling within the realm of mixing. Co-founder of the underground DnB collective - Liminil, she has solidified her commitment to sharing the underground minimal sound with fellow enthusiasts. by @lolo_dnb_
