Missing my boy extra today. This video makes me smile every time I watch it. Harley flying like an eagle over this big speed bump and still surfing out the window. Every time we go up to the Avon house, we pass this speed bump, and I always think of this moment ♥️🪽 @jonschackman by @loloschackman

My little man, Harley… It’s been 3 weeks since you’ve been gone, and I still don’t have all the words to express how much you meant to me. My heart is shattered. Losing you was my biggest fear. Part of me still expects to see you running down the stairs with a toy in your mouth when I come home. You were my best friend, my soul dog 💔I’ve known a life with Harley longer than without. I was just 12 years old when we got him, and he’s been with me through every major chapter. My little dude had a larger than life experience. We were blessed with 16 FULL years together. He survived death not once, but twice. He always fought his way back to us, surprising us and the vets. He respectfully earned his nickname of Lazarus. King Harley was the world’s best traveler. I’d bring him anywhere and everywhere with me. He adventured all over from Georgia farms to Seattle snow, Santa Barbara to Whistler, New Mexico deserts to Utah mountain tops, Colorado’s ski towns to beaches and yachts in Florida, and national parks all across the country.Harley was a popular little guy. I’d tell people “I promise, he’s a cool chihuahua!” and he always lived up to that, changing people’s perspective on small dogs. Knowing he brought so much joy to so many brings me peace. Thank you to everyone who loved him so well ♥️Harley passed just days before his 16th birthday. We celebrated early, of course. He loved car rides, so he got his very own driver’s license.You were heaven sent, Harley. You served your purpose on this earth so well. I’ll miss you for as long as I live. I’ll love you forever, my bubba. Until we meet again ♾️🤍🐺 by @loloschackman

2024 the Year of Celebration & Milestones!!! Became a dentist, a wife, a homeowner, and dog mom to two amazing pups. And then some more special moments in between: 2 weeks on the Amalfi coast, my bachelorette, Hudson turned 3, a new niece/future bestie, got my first pair of skis (snowboarding is still #1 but man skiing is FUN!!), Harley turned 15 years young, surprise trip from my two fav GA gals that my husband totally pulled off, and last but not least, pulled my nephews 1st tooth & pulled my nieces tooth! by @loloschackman
