Proud to attend the 4th edition of #BlackOnTheSquare at Trafalgar Square, proudly supported by the @mayorofldn

A powerful celebration of Black culture, creativity and diversity and most importantly, a reminder of what is possible when our community comes together as one.

It was inspiring to see the continued investment in Black creatives and businesses, a commitment I also explored in my interview with Deputy Mayor of London.

Representation matters. Opportunity matters. Community matters. 🖤

Big applause to all the artists, sponsors, theatre talents, stalls/vendors and the organisers.

40 years of the 🇳🇬 Nigerian Corner at Notting Hill Carnival and 60 years of Carnival in London!

The Nigerian Corner has been a huge part of my life for over 18 years now, and honestly, it was the music that first brought me there.

But over the years, it’s become so much more a beautiful mix of cultures, people, energy, memories and good vibes all coming together.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who shows up, celebrates, dances, connects and keeps the Corner alive every single year. 🙌🏾❤️
And to all our sponsors, artists, managers and the whole organising team 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🙌🙌

Happy Birthday, my beloved sister
❤️🎂
Today, I don’t just celebrate the day you were born, I celebrate the incredible blessing that you are to me and to everyone whose life you have touched.
As I think about our journey together, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. There were moments in my life when the storms were fierce, when the road was uncertain, and when I felt like I had nothing left to give. Through those difficult and perilous times, you never walked away. You stood by me with unwavering love, unwavering faith, and unwavering strength. Even when you didn’t have all the answers, your presence alone reminded me that I didn’t have to face life’s battles by myself.

Thank you for every word of wisdom you have spoken into my life. So many times, your words became the anchor that kept me from drifting.
Your encouragement gave me hope when I was discouraged, your prayers strengthened me when I was weak, and your belief in me carried me through seasons when I struggled to believe in myself.

Happy Birthday, my dear sister. May this new chapter of your life be filled with abundant grace, overflowing happiness, divine favor, and countless beautiful memories. taken in London, United Kingdom by @lolyjaay

Quick photo dump of a quick city break to Belgium 🇧🇪 with La bo bo ❤️.
I must say the chips 🍟 and waffles 🧇 are 💯.
Was just thinking on the train, what if there was a train linking all African countries like the Eurostar train 🚆.
Can’t we just break the strong hold from the west and do the right thing for once?
It is well 😁
Where should I go next?
