The Walrus has been faithfully recreating the music of The Beatles since 2002. All members are active recording and touring artists and have featured in multiple glowing Rolling Stoles articles. Core members Spencer Albee, Zach Jones, Sean Morin, Jon Roods, Anna Lombard, and Andrew Hodgkins dig in to the music of The Beatles with as much reverence as possible, though they do lean into the rock energy of a live performance.

Sixteen years ago today, I became your mom.

And somehow I can still feel it all like it just happened…
the waiting, the wondering, the quiet fear of the unknown… and then you.

I remember the moment my whole world rearranged itself around you. How something in me settled and expanded all at once. Like my life finally made sense in a way I didn’t even know I was searching for.

And now here you are… sixteen. Not just our baby anymore, but this strong, thoughtful, wildly capable, beautiful human walking through the world with your own rhythm, your own voice, your own light.

It’s surreal watching time do its thing—
how the girl I held on my chest is now the one teaching me, grounding me, making me laugh, making me think, making me better.

There is no version of me without you in it. And I will spend the rest of my life being grateful that I get to be your mom.

hadn’t seen each other since the mics weren’t turned on for our last anthem attempt in October 2025… but it was an honor to have round two be for the @hearts_sc 2026 season home opener this past Saturday. It may have taken a full year of building her trust but Bunny Raitt finally jumped up on my lap last night for the first time ever after I had been gone for a week and I think maybe she realized I’m not so bad after all. 🥹 by @lombirdie
