Dear Grandma, it's still surreal after 20 years since you crossed over to the other side of heaven. This is simply because yours was a life of impact.

If I forget anything, I cannot forget how you made every holiday to Bodija, Ibadan special. I tell your daughter's grandchildren that I am never jealous of their own grandma 'cos you were the best.

I also pride in the fact that I can't lack a roof over my head; just 'cos you housed many people and took good care of them. Thank you for being a willing vessel in the hands of your maker.

I also miss your anointing oil. And then your prayer for the grandchildren who rejected your oil; "Olorun a bami yo emi esu kuro lokan e loruko Jesu!".

I celebrate you 'Iya Iyabo'. Continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
