The 14th amendment and birthright citizenship is the heart and soul of America. It’s how most all of us got here. It’s what truly makes America great. My grandparents on my mother’s side immigrated to the United States from Ireland. My grandmother from Mayo, my grandfather from Kerry. They met in Gary, Indiana. They got married and had three children, one was my mother, Eileen. They were not full citizens yet, but became citizens. My Grandpa Micheal served in the United States Army for many years…. If it weren’t for the 14th Amendment, birthright citizenship and the constitution? I wouldn’t be here as a citizen. What’s your birthright citizenship origin story? by @lon_enos

There are a million reasons I love Ireland, one of the primary ones is they are very accepting of diversity. They do not fear immigrants, LGBTQ, or people of different religions or skin color.
