Full circle doesn’t even begin to describe this moment.
As a young camper, I looked up to my counselors with so much admiration. They were more than just leaders. They were examples of faith, kindness, strength, and love. I dreamed of the day when I would have the opportunity to pour into a group of girls the same way they once poured into me.

This summer, that dream becomes a reality.
I am incredibly honored to serve as a counselor with WinShape Camps for Girls at Mount Berry in Rome, Georgia. I will have the privilege of teaching girls new skills, worshiping alongside them, and most importantly, showing them what it means to walk as a woman of God with confidence, grace, and a firm foundation in Christ.

Our Cascade Village pillar this summer is Compassion, and I truly believe God placed me with these middle school girls for a reason. Middle school can be such a formative and challenging season of life, and I feel deeply called to be a source of encouragement, understanding, and love during a time when they may need someone to teach them what true compassion looks like toward others, toward themselves, and through the love of Christ.

It is such a blessing to know that God has brought me from being a camper who was inspired, encouraged, and deeply loved to becoming someone who now has the opportunity to inspire, encourage, and love others in the same way.
My prayer is that every girl in my cabin leaves feeling seen, valued, empowered, and reminded that her identity is rooted in God’s unconditional love.
Lord, use me this summer to be a light!!
