POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This Monday! February 26th 7pm! Come help us fill up the Renton City Council Chambers and show them how much Longacres DIY means to us and the skate community. We appreciate all the support we can get.

We've been quietly fighting, still trying to save what's left and save the spot for a safe haven during the rainy season.

Meeting begins at 7pm on the 7th floor of City Hall.

If you attend, Please be polite and respectful during Council as the public comments take place at the end of the meeting.

Our imminent doom is on the horizon, but we still out here ripping on weekends. Just do your part and bring a broom, and be respectful if workers are around...no sweep no skate! #LongliveLongacres by @longacres_diy

ATTENTION! Construction on I405 has officially begun at the skatepark. The park is closed from 6am - 5pm every day while construction crews are working.

Construction could last 12 months or more. If construction crews are there, no matter the time of day, the park is closed.

Saturday and Sunday are probably ok if nobody is on site actively working. But if they ask you to leave, please be polite and do what they say.

If their equipment, tools, fencing, staging material, of ANYTHING begins to get messed with they will notify Renton PD. If that continues happening the police will actively patrol the park to keep skateboarders out. So please, be respectful. Thanks ✌️ by @longacres_diy

The boys are back in town and spring 22' is heating up! Also, the polejam is back and kickin'. It's been MIA for well over a year but some good park patron found it across the road, buried in the stickers 🤷‍♂️ by @longacres_diy
