The challenge of working with implements that are one of a kind (block press and stone hold) and not able to be practiced prior are like a weighted puzzle you need to figure out in a moments time. Loved the challenge.

First event from yesterday’s #brutesandbrews. Stone to shoulder for time. Had to improvise a bit @strong_smith you didn’t see that 🤣🤣😳 I think it was 5 or 6 reps in a min.

The last event from yesterday... 50 ft dash with a truck on your back. I am very happy with all of my events. And the stitches on my left hand held up for every event except for “dinnie stone” (lighter than the real deal) hold for time. No surprise there.

Banging some rust off. It’s been too long of a break from boxing/Muay Thai. •
• Sometimes when we step away from a practice for too long there can be an anxiety built up about resuming. Especially if you’re a competitive Spirit. There’s only one remedy for it... DO IT!
•
•We think we hide from our anxieties by being “busy” or not having them in the fronts of our minds and living distracted. Reminiscing on how “great” it was vs the labors of starting back up. •
•We can never hide from what we procrastinate on. It festers below the surface until we address it. We can’t fool ourselves. So if there’s something you’re avoiding the only remedy is the commitment to immediate action and follow through. Don’t waist your time, it’s finite.
