Introducing Lumo, our little agent of chaos…

He has earned an amazing record of causing a crack to one crystal ball, breaking a wire, two toys and puncturing holes in some packaging since his arrival. Also not forgetting the ‘indelible marks’ he left on my hands and legs! 😼

Before welcoming a feline companion into my life, I, like many others, held the perception that dogs are inherently the more sociable and affectionate species. This inclination naturally drew me towards canine companions. While my adoration for dogs remains, having Loofie has opened me up to a lesser known truth — that cats, too, are capable of deep affection, just expressed in manners different from those of dogs.

It’s in these quiet, simple moments when Loofie saunters over and settles beside me, seeking my company that I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Every minute, every penny invested in his care seems inconsequential compared to the joy he brings to our lives. There have been times when work-related stress overwhelmed me, but the moment Loofie greeted me at the door with head-bunts and purrs, the weight of the world seemed to be lifted.

A pet isn’t just an animal. They are a cherished member of the family. They deserve our love not simply because they are sentient beings, but because they are, quite simply, themselves, and a source of unconditional affection and companionship. So love them with all you have because we are the only family and world they know.

If you follow Lumo’s updates, you already know he’s a biter 😪 He explores the world through his teeth, hence all the bite marks on my cables! But oddly enough, he only does it when I’m in the bedroom with him.

Before you watch, take a guess how long he took to cave to those intrusive thoughts!

Recent random conversations sparked an idea in mama to create memes of our community meows!

She instantly switched to her “cat whisperer” mode to best present the funny voices of these cats based on their photo expressions and understanding of their IG purrsonalities 🤣

So here’s the first series of cat memes. Mama may consider a second part featuring more furriends in the next one!

Do you agree with these interpretations? If not, drop us a comment to tell us what you think is more accurate!

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁!

A year ago, we never imagined you would become such a core part of our family. Between the hissing, the cattitude, and the “permanent tattoos” you left on mama’s hands and legs, you definitely made us earn your trust!

One year on, you’ve completely transformed. Watching you blossom, gaining healthy weight, learning to love wet food, enjoying outdoor walks, becoming Loofie’s annoying companion, and finally trusting and opening up to us, has been the most rewarding journey for us.

Perhaps Loofie will always be the main character of this page, but pawpa and mama will always make sure you have your own space within the page to shine too. You hold a very special place in our hearts, and we’ll love you the same we love your brother!

May you continue to grow, thrive, and rule this house in your own bratty and cute way! 😘 by @loofiethecat

Thank you @floofsinframe @canonsingapore for the cute shots of the boys!

These were taken during @asiacatexpo. It was their first time in a studio, and well, you already know how it went for Lumo 🤣… we only had two shots of him and one of the two lighting was a little dark, but both were with a grumpy face!

While we’ve promised not to stress the boys by doing this at a large event again, we will definitely consider a more intimate and scheduled studio shoot in the future!
