Blank wall —> this in 5 days.

That wall in your house you’re not sure what to do with?

I think you should let me paint it.

I’ll be in Bali for the month of August, and then Vietnam in September, and South Africa in December. Currently booking for end of August/September.

DM to chat about your space. 🌀👐 taken in Bali, Indonesia by @looking.atthesun

I think you should let me paint the walls of your house

or maybe the spot you went on your first date with someone you love

or your wedding invitations

and also your dog.

Say less 🍝

An Italian restaurant asked me to paint their walls, and honestly this is my favourite kind of brief — give me a wall, a mood, a menu, and let me run with it.

I do mural commissions for restaurants, homes, and hotels. If you’ve been sitting on a blank wall, this is your sign 🌀👐 by @looking.atthesun

A letter, a film photo, an artwork, illustration, stickers, and a few questions to ask yourself when you’ve gone too long without asking.

That’s it. That’s the whole business! It goes in a local envelope with a local stamp and turns up on your kitchen table when it turns up , from wherever in the world I happened to be standing that month.

No algorithm. No click bait hooks. Just something made by hand for a small number of people!

200 of you by the end of the year is the goal. Link in bio. 👐🌀 by @looking.atthesun

I made this into a sticker for my mail club. If you want one, sign up !!

I am trying to get to 200 by the end of the year, so far we are on 16!

For context - I write to you, send you art, tell you it’s okay and apparently word on the street is people get really excited to open it and it totally makes their day!!

She painted because she had to! She didn’t know what it meant, nor did she really bother with figuring it out!

It’s okay to not know! It’s okay because this world is literally crazy & who knows if we will even be around to find the answers.

Just love who you love and do whatever you feel called to do. The rest will sort itself out. Or it won’t.

Paintings for when you feel — I’m thinking of maybe doing a new series on this 👐🌀 by @looking.atthesun

Louise Bourgeois married, moved to New York, raised three sons, and still waited until 70 for the art world to look up.

Maybe you’re not behind. Maybe we don’t have as much control over what we do than we think.

My studio this month: a balcony, a mountain view, and headphones on.

I paint from wherever I land, and this one’s three very good dogs coming to life in Vietnam.

Follow along for the finished piece.

Commissions are open, and they don’t have to be dogs. Your cat, your favourite café, the view from your honeymoon, your nan’s kitchen.

If it means something to you, I want to paint it. DM me your wildest idea. I dare you 🌀👐 taken in Vietnam by @looking.atthesun
