all the steps that involve making my mahjong hands zine! not including the time spent designing the zine itself of course…zinemaking involves a lot of steps and i was pretty scared of messing up along the way. thankfully it all worked out! i thought that maybe zinemaking isn’t really for me, but i’m glad i pushed through and i feel more confident now - already have another batch of mahjong zines printed so i can restock!these mahjong hands zines and more are available on 🔗 looky.world ! use code LOOKY15OFF for 15% off your order~#artistoninstagram #zine #risograph #handmade #mahjongluckily i have access to a hydraulic cutting machine - it’s a LOT of cutting that would take super long without one!sooo satisfying when they’re cleanly cutthis is the step that made my carpal tunnel flare upmy scor-pal actually isn’t big enough to score the entire width of the page, but scoring half of the page and using the bone folder to fold the rest actually works just fine!made sure to set aside any messups at this point in the process!borrowed a friends stapler for this step and it really helped :’) you would think that this stapler would be super heavy but it’s actually not!this was the step that made my carpal tunnel even worsebut at least the zines are trimmed super cleanly nowused our collection of art books + cook books + my ipad for this one LOLthanks for reading to the end 🫶🫶use code LOOKY15OFF on 🔗 looky.world ヽ(•̀ω•́ )ゝ✧ by @lookygoodss
