Thank you to all the beautiful peeps who came by my stall yesterday to say hi and support this little creative venture of mine! It means the world to me to get so much lovely feedback and encouragement. Tomorrow is a day of firsts and lasts for me. It is our kids’ primary school annual Magic Market; an event our family has been attending since before the kids were even at the school. Sadly, tomorrow will be our last as parents at the school, but also my very first as a stall holder at the amazing makers market! I was so thrilled to have been given a spot and I can’t wait to meet the other makers and of course to see lots of familiar friendly faces 💜

We have almost announced all the stallholders at this year's 2024 makers market, but this one is extra special. Magda from Loom & Luna is the artist and also a parent at Brunswick North West PS. Her woven wall hangings are simply divine. The use colour and the details in her designs make these pieces extra special. Make sure you get down to the multipurpose room early so you don't miss out.

Magda is a weaver and fibre artist based in Naarm/Melbourne and the creator behind Loom & Luna. She specializes in woven wall hangings, drawing inspiration from the natural world while also playing with bold colour combinations. Magda’s pieces aim to bring warmth, texture, and vibrance to any interior space.

II’ve been sidetracked with my other hustle these last few weeks and haven’t been weaving nearly as much as I would like. I did get to work on this wonderful commission for an old friend though; a gift for her sister, to remind her of their beautiful island home. What was meant to be one weaving turned into three, one of which will be available on my Etsy shop soon 🩵🤍💙
