A little about me!

I set up Loom Designs because we’ve always loved having art on our walls at home. But I often found that buying larger paintings or prints could feel tricky, sometimes it’s the cost, sometimes it’s agreeing with my husband!!

For us, textiles feels like an easier, more approachable way to bring art into a space. You either love the pattern or you don’t, and once framed they instantly add warmth, texture and personality to your walls. They feel less intimidating than a huge canvas, but still give that “art on the wall” impact and they come with their own stories too.

I’m passionate about working with the artisan communities we work with and I love to the craftsmanship of traditional techniques and wanted to give them a platform

We frame them not only to show them beautifully but to also preserve and protect them for years to come.

I spend a lot of time with clients discussing their spaces, dimensions and colours so please get in touch and I’d love to help and advise where I can.

I hope to meet you in 2026.

Love Gaynor x

As we’ve hit December and we’ll be having a bit of time off soon in the Loom office, I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all our clients. Those of you who see me a lot, will hear me say (a lot!), “you can have something different on your wall” and we really appreciate you understand what we do. Thank you for buying a Loom piece 🎉

Thank you also for sharing where they have ended up. We couldn’t fit them all into this post but will share some more in 2026.

If in doubt…. Eye level! I’m going to do a post on it shorty as it’s a major part of getting your art right in my opinion!

We’re at @comptonmcrae in Semley, Wilts for the next 3 weeks. Pop in for a coffee and see our new artworks in person and we can discuss how to hang, where to hang and what to hang x

We love working with interior designers and helping find the right textile artwork for a space.

It’s not just about finding a piece you love, it’s about finding the right colours, textures, scale and frame so the artwork belongs in a room.

This beautiful space is perfect 🙏 As always, it’s so much easier to appreciate the colours and textures when you see a piece in person. The close up photo gives you a small glimpse of seeing it up close x
