Antiquity Held 🏛️ Now published in @moveuxmag
Marble, mosaic and a sculpted chocolate silk gown. We let the light do the draping and the columns keep time. This was a study in stillness and movement, where something ancient meets something alive.

The marble does not move. She does.

COVER EDITORIAL — Antiquity, Interrupted
A Roman villa, staged in Malibu. Columns, marble balustrades, water held in stone — built to imitate a history @queengold.chains never had to imagine. She was born in Lucera, a city with its own Roman ruins. The antiquity staged here isn’t inspiration. It’s a copy of where she’s actually from.

This edition’s governing question isn’t rhetorical here: whose story is this, the one she inherited, or the one she authors?

The dress lifts. A gaze turns, mid-frame. The room doesn’t need to answer to her. It already does.

VÉLAIRE — SWIM: Summer 2026
We did not want to make a swim issue. Every version of that issue already exists, and none of them survive being looked at twice. 
So this one asks a different question: what does it look like when a woman is not included in something, but responsible for its shape? 
Water carries no memory of its own. It takes the form of whatever holds it, and forgets that form the moment it’s poured elsewhere. She does not forget. She built it.
 The woman does not enter the season. She defines it.

“El Zonte” Produced exclusively for Vélaire, on location at Bitcoin Beach, El Zonte, El Salvador.

Black volcanic sand. A sea cave cut straight through solid rock. A coastline built to answer to no one, and it still finds itself outmatched. Anastasia walks through it like the crown was always hers, one shoulder bared to the wind, her own reflection doubling her on wet sand, as if one of her was never going to be enough for a frame this size to hold.

Every editorial in this issue asks its location to hold its own against the woman in frame. El Zonte doesn’t bother pretending that’s a fair fight.
