slipping between window frames, soaking, creaming, leaving 𝚜𝚞𝚜𝚙𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚕𝚢 𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 traces on fragile surfaces.
The gaze thinks it’s in control ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ✨ — but it keeps getting slowed down, filtered, teased into waiting... like something slightly too intimate to scroll past。🫧
On performance night 𓏲 ࣪₊🏻 : foot baths steam, electronic sounds hum ⚡️, edible skins shimmer🦷, and water balls roll like obedient little planets 🪐➰
A sᴘᴀ sᴇ́ᴀɴᴄᴇ where care feels a bit uncanny and desire learns some patience. 🕯️🕊️🧺

Für alle Rice Hamburger – egal ob du gern isst, kochst oder einfach neugierig bist.

„Rice Express“ ist eine temporäre Mitmach-Küche im öffentlichen Raum, die Reis als Symbol diasporischer Identität nutzt. Vor der Schiller-Bibliothek gestalten Besucher*innen kreative Reis-Burger, tauschen Erinnerungen, Rezepte und Geschichten aus.

Es verbindet Kulinarik, Kunst und Alltagserfahrung zu einem offenen, solidarischen Ort für Begegnung und Teilhabe.

For all Rice Hamburgers – whether you love eating, cooking, or you’re just curious.

Rice Express is a temporary, hands-on kitchen in a public space that uses rice as a symbol of diasporic identity. In front of the Schiller Library, visitors create their own rice burgers, share memories, recipes, and stories.

It brings together food, art, and everyday experiences to create an open and welcoming space for community and participation.

𝙇𝙪𝙘𝙞𝙙 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 site specific works by @loooyuk & @kjjabber

Opening Friday October 18th, 7pm

We are showing two new installations along with our video collaboration back from July, transplanting memories, fictional narratives and fortuitously found personal archives to a repurposed abandoned residential building near DongXuan center. Through subtle sensory interventions, the instances where we felt a temporary short-circuit—a detuned, misaligned perception of space and time—are replicated.

*note on accessibility: the entire environment will be intentionally dark, if you do not possess a light source (e.g. iPhone’s flashlight), please inform us before.

Diary Study: secret of wetness is a peep tour bring you through the narrative of private diary and excrement.

Privacy is a hole, a pipe without ending. Study of the connection between diary entries and human excrement, we question ‘disgust’ as the most immediate and natural human bodily sensation, the visible substances secreted by an individual’s internal body, simultaneously private and public. Systematically break down this filth in huge winding hidden spaces through the secret filters of the city sewers, allowing the ‘disgust’ out of one hole into another as quickly as possible and then disappearing.

You are diving into a terminable privacy leakage space where the secrets are damp and sticky, meanwhile you will get a special drink with the leaking pipe.
