Aos que deram VIDA ao LOOP: Aos que estiveram, participaram e marcaram presença nas atividades do festival. À equipa incansável de pessoas que tudo fez para que esta edição pudesse adaptar-se, renovar-se e continuar a acontecer. Aos artistas que superaram todas as dificuldades e que dançaram esta aventura em directo, à distância, mas perto. A todos os que confiaram em nós e navegaram connosco neste barco permitindo o LOOP acontecer em 2020. O nosso respeito e agradecimento.

Tanto como dar valor e ver quem está, também é importante cada vez mais entender os que escolhem não estar. Tivemos pessoas a se inscreverem e não apareceram. Resumimos que há tantas pessoas que desconhecem a importância da sua participação. Mudar começa mesmo por cada um de nós.
O LOOP aconteceu e isso significou duas coisas importantes: Respeitar todos os compromissos com todas as pessoas envolvidas, que contribuem para que o projecto exista. E permitir que a Dança continue a gerar oportunidades. Uma ínfima fatia de um todo muito maior.

To those that gave life to LOOP:
That participated and were actively present in the activities. To the team that did everything on their power for this edition to happen by readapting, renovating and continued the work.
To the Artists that overpassed the challenges and danced with excitement in this adventure by distance, however, close.
And everybody that has given trust and continues walking with us.
Our respect and appreciation.

As to giving value and see who is there, it is also a chance to understand who chooses not to be part of.
We received inscriptions from people who ended not showing up. Concluding that some, do not know the importance of their participation.
Change, really starts within us first.

LOOP happened and it meant two things:
Respecting the commitment with all of the people involved that contributes on this project
and very importantly, for Dance to continue generating opportunities.
A tiny slice of something bigger.

As LOOP TALKS, tem como objetivo criar espaços seguros para debates sobre temas relevantes nos temas que correm. Estes artivistas, querem partilhar contigo a sua mensagem em ligação com o trabalho académico e de investigação que tem vindo a desenvolver no âmbito.

We are one day from starting the Festival in digital mode, and we are nothing but full with energy to receive you.

🍾@tamararobledooud vai estar connosco no LOOP.
Baseada em Amsterdão, é bailarina professional e elemento da organização Amenti Movement.
Já trabalhou para Festivais como Faro Urbano, Ladies of Hip Hop, Mandala, Roots e com marcas como Nike, Absolut Vodka, Redbull entre outros.
A sua paixão é criar experiências com pessoas para explorar e crescer. Uma bailarina excecional, humilde e pronta para criar um bom ambiente, Tamara, é uma das bailarinas convidadas para o segmento MY OWN LOOP JAM e também ira dar um workshop focado em duas bases:
• Groove e Flow Expansions
• Musicalidade em Footworks.

🍾 @tamararobledooud will be with us 6,7 and 8th of November. Based in Amsterdam, she is a professional dancer and part of the organization Amenti Movement.
She has worked for Festivals such as: Faro Urbano, Ladies of HipHop Festival, Mandala, Momo, Roots as well as brands such as Nike, Absolut Vodka, Redbull among others.

PT: Temos o entusiasmo de anunciar a nossa terceira speaker da tarde das LOOP TALKS: @baronesslabaronnebaronesa vai estar connosco no palco ! Portuguesa com raízes Angolanas, Lúcia é bailarina desde o 12 anos, quando começou o seu percurso e estudos na Capoeira e estilos de dança associados à Diáspora Africana. O seu trajecto é genuinamente sólido, tendo ganho experiências e conquistas profissionais em Paris, Brasil, Reino Unido e Portugal, com companhias tais como: Cie Dyptik, Ella Mesma Company, A Part Etre, Orchidaceae, entre outros.
Para além de dançar, tem uma paixão e devoção pela Antropologia Social, tornando-se investigadora de temas sociais enraizados na cultura africana e por consequência desenvolvendo a sua mais recente peça de dança "Ancestralidade"
É uma autêntica líder e impulsora das comunidades da Capoeira e Street e Club Styles, e participou em diversos eventos em países como Portugal, Mali, Filipinas, Coreia do Sul, Finlândia, França, Marrocos (..).

EN: We have the enthusiasm of announcing our third speaker of the LOOP TALKS segment: @baronesslabaronnebaronesa, will be with us on stage!
Portuguese with angolan roots, she is a dancer since 12 years, time when she started her in Capoeira and dance styles associated with the African Diaspora. Her journey in Dance is authentic and solid, having experiences and professional conquers in Paris, Brasil, United Kingdom, Portugal with companies such as: Cie Dyptik, Ella Mesma Company, A Part Etre, Orchidaceae.
Besides dancing, she is passionate and devoted to social anthropology, becoming a researcher of social subjects rooted in the African Culture and by consequence developing her most recent dance piece "Ancestralidade"
She is an authentic leader and activist in communities of Capoeira and Street e Club Styles and participated in different related events in countries such as Portugal, Mali, Filipinas, Coreia do Sul, Finlândia,França, Marrocos (...)
