FORCES OF BECOMING — duo exhibition by Sofia Boarino @sofiaboarino and Anna Kubelík @annakubelik

Delighted to invite you to the opening of Forces of Becoming at LOOP, an incredible independent off-space in the heart of Zürich.

Sofia Boarino will be presenting Vocal Photosynthesis, a series of unique, camera-less photographic works created in total darkness, where the singing voice acts as the brush and light as the colour.
Anna Kubelík will be presenting BeFallen, tracing the hidden feeding structures created by bark beetles beneath spruce bark through print, extended by Tarik Goetzke @ta__goe into an audible, multi-perspective experience in ME+BeFallen.

📅 Opening: Thursday, 22 October, from 18:00
🎤 Live performances: 19:00
🕑 Exhibition open Thu–Fri, 14:00–18:00 + upon request
📅 Finissage: 3 December, 18:00

GIFF UNLIMITED ⎮ SWISSORAMA : IMPRESSIONS DE LA SUISSE 🇨🇭

Du 18 septembre au 10 octobre, le GIFF franchit le Röstigraben à l’occasion d’un premier GIFF Unlimited à Zurich en collaboration avec Verein 360°,dans le cadre de leur projet de contextualisation du système Swissorama, conçu par le réalisateur suisse Ernst A. Heiniger (1905–1993).

Dans le cadre de l’exposition « Rund um Bild », à l’espace Loop (@loop____________________) de @poolarchitektur à Zurich, le public suisse alémanique pourra (re)découvrir le film patrimonial 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲 en réalité virtuelle et s’immerger au cœur des traditions et des paysages helvétiques.

Buchpräsentation am Do. 10.09.2026 18Uhr

Im BSA-Forschungsstipendium Nr. 8 untersucht Guillaume Guisan, wie thermische mit räumlichen Qualitäten zusammenhängen und wie dieser Dialog durch die Zeichnung hervorgehoben werden kann. Anhand von Porträts «thermischer Orte» veranschaulicht die Publikation, wie mikroklimatische Kontraste soziale Interaktionen fördern, kulturelle Praktiken prägen und neue gestalterische Perspektiven eröffnen. Sie verbindet empirische Forschung mit zeichnerischen Experimenten und entwickelt daraus eine eigene visuelle Sprache, um thermische Phänomene sichtbar und gestaltbar zu machen.

Drei künstlerische Positionen treten im loop in Dialog: Anne-Marie Fischer @anne_marie_fischer , Thomas Legler Arché Studio @archestudio.ch und Franziska Schiratzki @fschiratzki verbindet ein sensibles Arbeiten an Material, Ober-
fläche und Struktur.

Anne-Marie Fischer bewegt sich zwischen Malerei, Collage und Keramik und untersucht das Zusammenspiel von Geste und Spur.

Thomas Legler versteht Ton als Träger von Erinnerung und entwickelt daraus ruhige, prozesshafte Objekte.

Franziska Schiratzki schafft in ihren Druckgrafiken und Collagen poetische Architekturen durch Textur, Rhythmus und Leere.

Ergänzt werden die Einzelpositionen durch ein gemeinsames, für loop entwickeltes Projekt, welches Schnittstellen zwischen den
künstlerischen Ansätzen an einem Ort sichtbar macht.

“Based on a visual research carried out for Fala, NOWHERE HOME took shape in an editorial format through which Giulietta Margot explore space and its possibilities. The project embodies a sensory and philosophical approach to the house. Confronting the sterility of traditional architectural representation, this photographic work reveals, through analogy, the value of the house as a space of freedom. The tangible rigidity of walls is redefined by a contemporary domesticity. Shielded from the gaze of others, free from all social constructs, rules dissipate. The images do not account for structural logic, which ultimately belongs to their creator, but rather evoke a dimension where time is measured in square meters. A memory of the intimate, the photographs become liminal spaces where the void is grainy and sunsets fade to shades of grey.”

NOWHERE HOME is an exhibition in what could be a home. It is about homes and about built images of homes.
It showcases photographs by Giulietta Margot of fala’s works. Photographs within homes, and without homes. Photographs as fragmented homeliness.

The intimate and the dreamy confront the designed, the crafted. Cats and columns become shadows, shades of grey. Time is measured in square meters. Square meters are approached as captured light.

fala’s buildings are no more than a case in point. Photography and architecture appear as crippled acts of expression—siamese twins relying on each other to get by. Twin escape routes, away from the objective.
