Did you know that natural burial grounds often have different rules from traditional cemeteries?

While traditional burial may allow a wider range of materials and personal items, natural burial focuses on protecting the surrounding ecosystem and allowing the body and burial materials to return to the earth naturally.

That's why what we bring into the grave matters.

From flowers and clothing to personal keepsakes and the coffin itself, every choice can make a difference.

Swipe to discover what's generally allowed, what to avoid and why these guidelines exist.

Remember: rules vary by country and burial ground, so always check locally.

A name. A memory. A story that deserves to be remembered.

With laser engraving, our urns can now be personalized with a name, date, symbol or meaningful message.

A small detail that makes a farewell unmistakably theirs.
Because every life is unique.

Their final resting place can be too. 🤍

Happy World Mushroom Day. 🍄

Today is a day to celebrate something we usually only notice when it appears above the ground.
But the real magic happens underneath our feet.

Mushrooms underground networks (mycelium), help ecosystems function and show us just how interconnected nature really is.

And we’re only beginning to understand their potential.

From scientists mapping the fungal world beneath our feet to fungi receiving more recognition around the world, one thing feels increasingly clear:
The future is fungi.

We often hear that people choose the Living Cocoon™ because nature was already an important part of their life.

They loved walking through the woods. Working in the garden. Being outdoors. Or simply feeling connected to the natural world around them.

For others, it’s different. They connect with the softness, the natural appearance, or simply the idea of leaving something good behind.

There doesn’t have to be one reason.

Because every life is different. And every farewell can reflect that. 🤍

Denise Ora, CEO of @metropolitanmemorialparks , shares what she sees in the Living Cocoon™️: a way to return to the earth while helping nourish the soil.

And just as importantly, a new choice that allows families to discover that saying goodbye can be done differently.

Sometimes, even we are left without words.

We receive photos from families that make us stop for a moment.

You may never have met the person, yet somehow, through a single image, you can feel a little of who they were. The people around them. The love. The story behind the farewell.

It reminds us that behind every Loop product is a person, a life, and a family saying goodbye.

We are deeply grateful that he, together with his family, chose Loop to be part of that final chapter.

Thank you for trusting us with something so personal. 🤍

A farewell can be more than an ending.

It can be a moment of connection.
A celebration of a life.
A return to nature.
And perhaps even the beginning of something new.

New roots.
New life.
New memories growing alongside the ones we carry with us.

Because saying goodbye doesn't have to mean leaving only something behind.
It can also mean giving something back. 🌱

It’s one of those sentences that usually makes people stop.

Wait… grown? In seven days? How?

And yes, we really do grow our coffins, urns and other funeral products in just seven days at our growing facility in Delft (The Netherlands).

We work with mycelium, the underground network of mushrooms, and combine it with upcycled hemp fibres. Then we let nature do what it does best: grow.

When words aren't enough, sometimes touch can bring comfort.

The Loop Little Cocoon™ was created for one of the most difficult goodbyes imaginable.

Its soft, natural surface invites families to come close. To place a hand on it. To hold it. To create one final moment of connection.

Because in a moment that can feel impossibly heavy, the things surrounding you shouldn't feel cold or distant.

They should feel gentle. 🤍
