Some images of my contribution from the recent Shift exhibition at the @canterburymuseum with over 60+ artists. Features in this post are three threads of work. 1) Vertical totem pole style pieces, 2) Ode to the old school with tributes to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, and 3) an Illustrative series that extends from work I painted in this museum in 2015 and inspired by decorating victorian motifs, patterns, and flowers. This show is by far, Aotearoa’s largest gathering and collective showing of urban art including graf, murals, and street art. The show is only on for another week or so. If you haven’t checked it out, please head over to Christchurch now. Photos by Johannes Van Kan. Huge thanks to @railsidenz for hooking up the paint @loopcolorsnz by @loopcolorsnz

Some pics from the recent jam at the @tattoohuiaotearoa in Mount Maunganui. Shoutouts to Fdkns for taking out the top spot with their killer wall. Other crews involved include A2d, Risers, and Gbak. Great day to link with other writers and encouraging each other to raise the bar. Unity is the only way forward. Alongside the event we also opened our first pop up booth for @railsidenz Shoutouts to @mattybro_art @montycollinsdesigner @mistere_sauni @lifes_a_bliss @qutvng @tawck_gbak @haser_nz @jayco_95 @race_graffiti @hoaks_a2d @stanley__fatmax @mrr_.m @charles_phat1tmd @janine_divatmd @jevans_tattoo and sorry if I have missed anybody! by @loopcolorsnz
