Question: when you’re a poodle, can you really be told to stop poodling? Because when you are one, you really can’t help it, right? You’re always poodling!

I already have the necessary materials for a second suit and boy is it tempting to get cracking. Loopii was just so fun to make! And poodles are so fun to design. I hope this post finds other crochets!

Fun fact: Loopii was mainly made from baby blanket yarn from Aldi, so she was a budget make! I had built a fine collection of Aldi yarn over the years and she was the perfect way to use it!
Fun fact 2: Loopii isn’t my fursona - I just thought she’d be a fun project to make! And I never drew her before making her.

I’ve been so delighted with how the launch of my paw pattern went! Thank you again to everyone who bought the pattern! Now I’m planning my next pattern, and have my own ideas, like spacious animal backpacks and the a tail with g0re details (meaning the base of the tail looks like a simple cartoony severed tail, with a little bone in it and everything) …but would like to know what species of tail is most wanted! And am looking to see if anyone has other ideas for things they’d LOVE to see a pattern for but haven’t yet! But please…just don’t say a fursuit head 💀 I would lose my mind trying to write such a chaotic process in such a way that others could follow! 😭

A HUGE thank you to all my pattern testers! Their role is so important - they help identify any issues, typos or difficulties there may be in a pattern BEFORE it reaches the customers’ hands! I really appreciate each and every one of them. They all had different things to contribute, and they all approached making their paws so differently! I hope you all get inspiration for your own paws from the ones my testers made!

Yeah…well she’s my first suit to be fair and lining her was NOT my priority at the time of making her 😅 Sometimes those loose strings of yarn slip outside her mouth and she looks like she was eating spaghetti messily 😅 I hope to sort her someday

I dunno if anyone saw it coming, but I, the maker of Loopii, am into this kind of hardcore music 😆 (though I wouldn’t be one for going to raves - I don’t deal well with really crowded and loud spaces!)

I’m genuinely curious about this so you can answer for fun, even if not interested in the pattern! Also, commenting a song that I’ve used in one of my videos or on my page doesn’t count as an entry for the pattern! (and also: the track used in the dancing video was my friend’s choice, so that’s not a clue either)

[CLOSED] TESTER CALL FOR MY CROCHET SLIM PAWS GLOVE PATTERN!

I’m looking for 4-5 testers to try out my crochet paw pattern before I release it for sale!
Please read the below very carefully on how to enter. You must complete all steps to have a valid entry!

This is an INTERMEDIATE level crochet pattern. The tester call will close this Friday at 6pm BST, and I will choose the testers a few hours after the call closes

To enter:
🐾 Follow me
🐾 Share this reel to your stories and TAG ME so I can see!
🐾 Comment below the following: 1. Your hand size: small, medium or large (based on your estimations)(note: the pattern is developed for adult-sized hands) 2. A picture showcasing your crochet skills (or have photos of your crochet in your account) 3. Tell me if you have experience testing crochet patterns 4. Bonus: (not necessary) what yarn you will use (it must be super bulky, like Hobbii Honey Bunny or other alternative)
🐾 You must commit to completing a left hand and a right hand paw before the 30th September
🐾 You must be comfortable giving your brutally honest feedback on the pattern and any tips on how to improve it, and be able to point out any mistakes in the pattern if applicable
🐾 You must have a public account, and provide a high quality photo of your paws before the deadline (the paws will work up quicker than you think)

I will also include options for smaller paw pads (like Loopii’s) in the pattern.

You will get about a week and a half to finish the pattern. I would like to give more time, but I really want to get this pattern out in good time before Halloween (a.k.a. costume & dress-up season)

It’ll require you around 100g of bulky chenille yarn per hand/paw. You may need more depending on the size of your paws/tension. You may use fluffy yarn if you’re confident with it! You will also need a small amount of DK yarn for the claws. And a 6mm or 7mm hook or 8mm hook (depending on hand size), and a 3mm hook.

DISCLAIMER! I, the maker of Loopii, am not the person dancing in this video! The dancer is my friend Untamed! If you were at Anthro Irish 2026, she was the one who danced as Loopii at the variety show!

Also, I must brag about my friend now: she completely improvised this dance! Didn’t even listen to the complete track beforehand to gear herself up! Like dang, I wish I was good at dancing! I must work on that 😤

I did the camerawork for this video! It was fun to play around with angles a little bit! But dang my heart broke a bit trying to colour correct this video (I do not have professional software, so I tried my best with what I had)

Untamed is my long distance friend and she is across the ocean right now, but I have a few more vids of her dancing as Loopii if you wanna see! And I can upload part 2 of this video if you want! I couldn’t upload more than 90secs due to song copyright.

The thing about asking your parents to film for you is that they may not tap the area that’ll give the most balanced lighting! Also…I am literally that person who’s still on their iPhone8 😅 But I am upgrading it very soon!
