Everyone wish Rico a happy 1st birthday!! It’s wild to think I’ve photographed him while he was still in Aida’s tummy, as a newborn, at his baptism and now at one and each time he’s surrounded by a team of people that love him (and preparing him for his modeling career) lol.

They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you, a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one could ever fill.
Since you’ll never be forgotten
I’ll pledge to you today;
A hallowed place within my heart is where you’ll always stay.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane, I’d walk the path to heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. 🕊

if you’ve been wanting to start a healthier nail journey, this is your sign 💅🏼 you guys should definitely check out @thelonnextdoor in Grosse Pointe and ask for Carmen! ✨ i love how gentle and intentional the entire experience was, from the hand-prepped nails to the low-tox products to the relaxing hand massage that almost put me to sleep 🤍

my first and only caution card ⚠️ proud of it, too! the wild thing is, I got written up but he never did. I do vividly remember the noon aide that pulled me aside after he apologized for harassing me and she told me “just because he apologized, doesn’t mean it’s ok. you never have to say it’s ok!” PERIOD 🤏🏼 #trending #whatilookedlike #women by @loopymua
