@loose_levin took home the Best MTB award at BESPOKED Dresden, judged by @mtbnews 🤝 This bike apparently started with a broken foot. After injuring himself dirt jumping, Levin taught himself CAD out of boredom. In his basement sat an old, broken Santa Cruz full-suspension frame, which quickly became the starting point for something entirely new. What could be reused was reused: the upper link, 26” wheels, even 12-year-old tyres. Everything else Levin built himself in just two months - sawing, filing, brazing, even making a steel UDH dropout from scratch. The frame was fully self-designed and brazed during a framebuilding course, his first real dive into fillet brazing. The result? A steel, singlespeed, mini-mullet full-suspension bike with 135 mm of travel and zero interest in trends. Yes, the best bike of the show runs 26” 🤓 #stokedforbespoked #custombike 📸 @adamgassonphoto 📍@bespoked.cc Dresden by @loose_levin

I would assume that @loose_levin went home with lots of praise and new fans of his work. It was nice meeting you and hear your story first hand. He used the geo of his Santa Cruz and built his first bike from the scratch - just because you can - because you are a welder and went directly into the airport of Dresden to exhibit your work at @bespoked. And guess what. It was awarded as the BEST MTB of the show! 🥇 I loved the details which show his passion for the sport. A cool unique singlespeed jump parkbike. What’s next? I wish you all the best for your framebuilder future! #bespoked #freeride #handmade by @loose_levin
This one is dedicated to our Homie 💔 #mcneatforever Thanks @tantemaekki for the pictures and thanks to @jb_bikes01 for reaming the headtube by @loose_levin
My second bike is a 24-inch dirt jumper, perfect for tight trails. For this build, I definitely upgraded my welding setup and it was my first time using CAD. Thanks to @mari0exl for the waterjet parts. The photos taken with a toaster are by @gian_humpert and @joschka_pets by @loose_levin
In 2022, I built my first bike frame. I learned a lot about welding and manufacturing. I really love this frame; it introduced me to the world of trail riding. thanks @chadcowell for the sick photo by @loose_levin
