Alexander Ludwig Ebert.

A genuine friend. The life of the party. Always took his own path. If Ebert was there, you were going to get a story to laugh about for years. From our first moments together to our last, we shared a brotherly bond.

We said our final goodbyes to Ebert in March as a bald eagle flew overhead. A perfect representation of him. A patriot of the USA that loved to fly. Today would have been his 29th birthday.

As I reminisced upon our friendship today, this song came top of mind. Grateful. I’m grateful for the short time that The Lord gave me with Alexander. The opportunity to grow up with a man like him, just grateful.
