Brother Martin High School is pleased to announce that Mr. Lopez Lomong, two-time track and field Olympian and the author of our 2024-25 Great Read, "Running for My Life," will be visiting our campus tomorrow to speak with our Crusaders.

We feel extremely blessed to be able to welcome Mr. Lomong to New Orleans and have him participate in our mission of Forming Young Men for Life. by @lopez_lomong

26.2 miles—what a journey! Running my first marathon was a challenge, but it reflects the road I’ve traveled—from being a Lost Boy to running for a greater purpose. Together, we raised over $355,000—enough to provide clean water for more than 7,100 people for life through World Vision. I’m grateful for this experience and every life changed along the way! #RunForCleanWater #RunForHope #runningformylife by @lopez_lomong

South Sudan 🇸🇸 is a country of so much potential - Most of that lies in the goodness of its people who are humble, hard working, and dreaming for peace!
The visit by the Pope and other religious leaders reminds us of the importance of bringing light to the young women and children of South Sudan!
