Hey chat, I’m going to get a little personal real quick but I felt this was necessary. Let me reintroduce myself ✨!For a long time, I contemplated continuing my journey as a stylist or a makeup artist. Truthfully, my inconsistency has become more and more apparent, and I am not proud of that. There were moments when self-doubt, fear, and a lack of direction caused me to step away from my own potential. I knew I was gifted, yet I struggled to fully commit to the discipline required to turn that gift into something lasting due to mental health issues and life throwing jabs I was unprepared for.This year, however, is my redemption. It is my decision to stop questioning myself and start proving—to myself most of all—that I am capable of showing up fully and consistently. I am choosing to hold myself accountable, to refine my craft, and to honor the passion that first drew me to beauty. I now understand that growth requires patience, resilience, and the willingness to push through discomfort.Beauty, for me, has always been more than hair or makeup. It is connection. It is confidence. It is the ability to help someone see themselves differently when they look in the mirror. I’ve witnessed how transformative it can be to feel seen, cared for, and valued through intentional artistry. That responsibility is not something I take lightly.I am learning to move with purpose instead of pressure, and with intention instead of fear. I am no longer chasing perfection, but progress. Every client, every look, and every moment behind the chair or brush is an opportunity to grow, to heal, and to reaffirm why I began this journey in the first place.This season of my life is about consistency, self-trust, and alignment. I am rebuilding—not just a career, but my confidence, my discipline, and my belief in myself. I am committed to evolving, to learning, and to showing up even when it feels uncomfortable. I am no longer waiting for the “right time.” I am creating it.This is not just a comeback. It is a commitment—to my craft, my growth, and the woman I am becoming. by @lorajhene
