What a great day at the Big Ohio Book Con! It was so lovely getting to meet a bunch of amazing authors and learning about their books. I’m so excited to read each and every one of these!!! by @loramasterwrites

A much needed vacation. Cruised to Aruba, Curacao, and Royal Caribbean’s Coco Cay with my best friend and our mothers. It was great to have some time to decompress from the stresses of the real world. Now that I’m back to my normal icy landscape, I’m ready to finish the last 20% of this novel! Almost there ❤️ #royalcaribbean #oasisoftheseas #travel #cruise #fantasyauthor by @loramasterwrites

Wow. So, I’ve had a lot happen since my last post. I took a few months off from writing, came back to it, reached my halfway point, promptly decided to change some MAJOR plot points, pouted for a day since the changes made things messy, plotted out the next 2-3 books, revised my timeline for THIS book, then got back to work. Whew! All that to say, I’m back STRONGER than ever and can’t wait to finish Lark’s story to share with you all. 🌊 #watermagic #fantasy #romantasy #fantasyauthor #novel #50k by @loramasterwrites

Hitting 40k words today sure tasted sweet - so I’m treating myself to Starbucks while I work. Nearly halfway done! 📚#writersofinstagram #fantasybooks #fantasyauthor #romantacy #seamagic #shiftingtides by @loramasterwrites

20,000 words deep and the tides are shifting.
This story is wild, emotional, and more personal than I ever expected.
Here’s to sirens, secrets, and the storm that lives inside my main character.

I think earth calls to me most. I love anything green and living ❤️ what’s your element? #elements #magic #fantasybooks #watermagic #shiftingtides by @loramasterwrites

I love all of these aspects of writing, but my absolute favorite is when my characters take on a life of their own! I can go in having a complete plan of how a characters voice will sound…until I start writing and they’ve decided they are in charge. Anyone else absolutely love this??! #writinginspiration #womenwhowrites #fantasy #fantasyauthor #magicmoments #shiftingtides #wip by @loramasterwrites
