Old friends
Winter companions, the old men
🔹
This drawing is a collaboration with my past self. Every time I thought about this drawing for the last 5 years, I wished I had finished it. My past self can’t finish it, so present-self had to.
One thing I remembered about this drawing is that I initially decided not use any typical blending techniques. I stuck to that principle for the finished product and did not blend, but achieved everything with pencils only.
I’m happy it’s finished but I’m curious to know how I would’ve finished it 5 years ago.

Brandon Flowers live on the Thrasher tour

🕺🏻🥀✨

9/21/26 at Franklin Music Hall, Philadelphia, PA
(and a couple shots from the 9:30 Club the day before)

The Killers frontman is nothing if not a once-in-a-lifetime performer. I’m so happy to have seen him bring his energy and talent (and rhinestoned shirt) to these small venues!

I’ve accidentally seen Lukas Nelson perform twice, once 18 years ago and once 8 years ago. This time I saw him completely on purpose. The last time I saw him accidentally, it was one of the best shows I ever saw, but my phone died at the beginning of his performance so I had no evidence of my best concert experience. I made sure to make up for it with some pictures this time. by @loraskies

@theavettbrothers performed on the site of an abandoned steel factory between Pennsylvania mountain ridges on a cool early-August evening, and a passing train blew its whistle right on cue in the first verse of 'I and Love and You'

a perfect moment to remember from my third time seeing my favorite brothers perform
