Cox’s Bazar, the sea, long roads, tired legs, salty air, a whole new experience of training.

A big thank you to @triathlete_arafat for putting together this wonderful triathlon training getaway.

There was something special about swimming in the open sea and riding with the ocean beside you. No gym walls, no ticking clocks, just the road, the waves, and the feeling of being alive.

I finally recieved my patch from the @bengals_mc this week. It’s hard to explain what that moment feels like unless you’ve lived the journey yourself.
.
Nearly 6 years ago, I came in not really understanding what brotherhood, loyalty, patience, and earning respect truly meant. Somewhere along the way, this process changed me as a person.
.
There were moments of doubt, moments where my own ego was my biggest obstacle, but this journey taught me how to stay grounded and keep moving forward.
.
This patch is more than something worn on a vest. For me, it represents years of learning, sacrifice, trust, and brotherhood earned step by step.

I’ve kept this to myself for a long time, but I feel like sharing my story now.

In November 2023, I was diagnosed with alopecia, a disease that attacks hair follicles, causing patchy hair loss, with no known cure. What started as a small bald patch on my beard quickly turned into a nightmare. Within 2–3 months, I had lost nearly 90% of my beard, and soon after, large bald patches started appearing on my head.

What Caused It?
Looking back, my lifestyle had been a recipe for disaster:
• Diet: I was on Fast food and sugary drinks for nearly two years
• Sleep: Barely 5 hours a night (4 AM – 9 AM)
• Exercise: None
• Stress: 10–12 hour high-stress workdays
• Environment: surrounded by constant negativity
• Weight: severely overweight.

How I Treated It:
There was no quick fix, I committed to change:
What worked for me:
• PRP & Mesotherapy – Monthly for 6 months
• Peptide injections – Monthly for 6 months
• Supplements – Biotin, Zinc, Iron, B12, B6, Fish Oil, Folic Acid
• Minoxidil 5% – For 8 months
• Diet – Whole foods only, no sugar, no oil
• Sleep – 12 AM – 8 AM consistently
• Exercise – 1 hour, 5x a week
• Stress – Laughter before sleep, I watched standup comedy every night.
• Environment – Cut all forms of negativity from my life, reconnected with people & hobbies

Alhamdulillah, over time, I recovered with guidance from people who went through the same journey. My hair started growing back, and by mid-2025, my beard was fully restored, with no more bald patches. Today, I’m back to my desired BMI and feel stronger than ever.

Lessons Learned:
This journey was more than just hair. The emotional trauma was just as real. Losing a part of myself was painful but it taught me how to truly take care of myself.
If you’re going through this:
You’re not alone. There’s no quick fix, but there is a way forward. Be patient, it gets better. Trust me. 🤍
