📚⭒˚｡⋆ "Courage & Ambition" is an upcoming five-book historical fantasy series. Spanning from the canals of Venice to the imperial halls of China, the novels are set in an alternate 15th century torn apart by ‘new magic’ adversely affecting women and newborns. The story follows two young women as they discover that this cursed magic will only listen to them.

Ooph get ready for a long (but fun!) post! I really enjoyed putting this series together! And as it reads... Not exhaustive... I'm in over my head... 🫪

━━━━⊱ ׁ⠂ ˙ׅ ׁ ׁ⠂

Fun fact~ I have both a bachelor's and master's degree in the International Relations field! I am by zero means a historian, more of a personal enthusiast for the Ming Treasure Ships and 15th century in general!

My books are historically inspired but are ultimately an alternate-universe FANTASY series 🫧🧚🏻‍♀️🐉🦄✨

I do research and plan to hire sensitivity editors! My specialty is in international economics and business, rather than language and regional concentrations (as most IR students pursue). But my personal passion is 15th century trade and exchange!

We have all been far more connected across history than many of us were originally taught 💕

Where my books kick-off! The crossroads of Europe and Asia felt most fitting.

Additionally, the fall of the Byzantine Empire had a MASSIVE effect across this century and on! I was very inspired to start here 💕

💌 love letter to August

━━━━━⊱ ׁ⠂ ˙ׅ ׁ ׁ⠂

Grateful for summer, and while I'm sad to start waving goodbye to my favorite season, I am looking forward to fall! 🍂

Fall is a powerful season for change and like many authors, I look forward to the cozy vibes~

I hope your own summer has been fantastic and that you have had plenty of the inspiration and sunny creativity you've needed to continue pursuing your dreams!

I've been so so SO inspired by my fellow creatives lately -- I plan to film some more shout-outs, soon! And (p.s.) a new vlog is on its way this week! 🥰

And...

As always...

Thank you so much for your support, friend! 💕 taken in Chicago, IL by @lordcanda
