I just listened to my favourite podcast @strangersonabench where a woman spoke so beautifully about her mum and the grief she’s experiencing following her death. I found it so relatable, so moving, and whilst it’s been 17 years since my own mother died, I remember all of those feelings of loss, devastation, and disappearing, not knowing how I would carry on without her. And yet, managing to find a way, and hopefully honouring her with the life I have lived and the person I’ve become. @tomrosenthal1 proposed that she take her favourite photo of her mum and print it out so that she would be around her, daily, in her space. In this moment, I want to do exactly that, but in the meantime, this photo, which is blurred and old, but captures mum perfectly; the joy, the love, the kindness, the warmth, the fun, will be on my socials. And soon to be in my living room. ❤️❤️ by @lordjipps
