Today marks 365 days since I quit my job27 roles. 14 jobs. 11 years. Then I went all in.Today I’m a full time DJ, public speaker and tech founder, building a platform that helps people turn their gifts into profitable solutions, using my DJing and speaking as proof it can be done.Honestly? Best and hardest year of my life.The highs:Shown up and blown up on social media, opening doors for my DJing and speaking.Mixing on the largest Christian radio network every month since January.Running programs in schools helping young people find their gifts.None of it happens if I don’t step out.The lows:Screen time wrecking my eyes.Solitude creeping in, disappearing into the work and away from the people who love me.Doubts, again and again. Will this work? Did I choose right?But the greatest part of this year has been the spiritual growth. Losing the comfort of a salary showed me how much I leaned on money over what I claimed to rely on.It forced me to rebuild foundations, to ask hard questions about the vision I’ve carried since March 2018. I don’t regret asking.Because this is the year the parts of me that don’t serve who I’m becoming got forced into the open, to be burned away.Do you relate to any of this?P.S. Next week I’m bringing something out. An opportunity for anyone on, or considering, a journey like this. by @lordwinanim
