The way it took me FOUR DAYS to narrow down these pictures and videos from our most perfect Galentine’s Day this past Sunday 😩

I had so many of them and I also had to make sure it was IG appropriate conversation in the background 😂

I got home at 4am! 🕓😭…but, all in all, I’m so thankful for y’all and the community we’re building together. We’re so grateful for the clients who give us support through their time and beautiful energy. Real tears of joy and appreciation, truly. 😢✨

Moe & Erica 🫂🥹…I love you both SO MUCH! God bringing us together is proof of soulmates!

The level of mediocrity women almost always have to accept in romantic relationships is actually starting to annoy me. When men are hands-on Dads, they’re praised and worshiped for showing up for their children. When they don’t cheat on their partners or abuse them physically, or they know how to cook and are gainfully employed, he’s viewed as a unicorn.

For clarity, these are BASIC life skills and human decency. Being praised for being average is a luxury women DO NOT HAVE. The amount of things we tolerate and have to coddle to maintain long term relationships is almost ungodly. Lol. Having to over-explain and repeatedly teach elementary school emotions like empathy and continuously break down examples of healthy communication, it’s sickening. Women don’t have weaponized incompetence as a justification; it simply would not be tolerated.

And the idea that we’re “gold digging” is the most laughable thing I’ve ever heard. The number of men who actually have gold to dig, are inherently generous, and understand the concept of providing and protecting is staggeringly low. All the while, we’re expected to be nurturing, understanding, faithful, and maintain a perfect balance between being attractive enough to garner him the right kind of attention for having you by his side, but not too much attention to potentially seem thirsty or a distraction to his presence. We also have to be the maid, chef, nanny, nurse, administrative assistant, therapist, sex worker and his second Mommy, so THE LEAST HE CAN HAVE IS SOME MONEY!

Men are taught to CHOOSE a wife and women are taught to KEEP a husband. The idea is that it’s his job to find you and to “make an honest woman out of you,” and the rest is up to you to balance and maintain. It’s giving humiliation ritual. I’m actually praying for the day the cortisol stops clogging our right mind, and the societal norms can no longer bully us into misery and submission.
