still trying to process last weekend. 🥹
i won 1st place in my first amateur bodybuilding bikini show and honestly… there was a time i didn’t think something like this would ever happen

doing prep while finding out i have Ulcerative Colitis was one of the hardest things i’ve ever done physically and mentally. not to mention just finishing up physical therapy and trying to grow back my leg muscles (for a 3rd time)i had lost from my last surgery was actually so difficult..there were so many moments i wanted to drop out of the show, so many days i felt uncomfortable in my own body, doubted myself, felt sick, bloated, exhausted, and convinced myself i wasn’t good enough. i genuinely almost didn’t do this show because fear kept getting louder than belief.

but somehow i kept going.
and i definitely did not do it alone.

to @thisisdylaneliz and @samosbones thank you for going through this experience with me and making prep, peak week, and show day something i’ll never forget.

to @n.iic.k and @claudialagun thank you for showing up and supporting me. you guys going means more than i can explain. you both made this trip so much more memorable..to many more🥹

@andrew_berman30 , my family, and everyone who stood by me through the emotional breakdowns(a lot), exhaustion, stress, and self doubt… thank you for loving me through all of it.

and to @alex.cameron72 and @cheryl_cameron11 @laina_drmom + my maximus family thank you for believing in me even when i struggled to believe in myself. you guys helped me push past limits i didn’t think i could.

this prep tested every part of me. but it also showed me that fear lies, discipline matters, and hard things are still worth doing even when you’re absolutely terrified.

the last few months haven’t been easy. 3 surgeries (1 left), setbacks, people doubting me, judging me, etc.

i’ve faced obstacles my entire life, but i never let people’s words — or my situation define me. i kept showing up. i kept working. and i will continue to do so.. ESPECIALLY on the days i didn’t want to or was in pain i was still in the gym, still writing my story. (sorry haters 😝LOL)

LF Fitness is for the ones who never felt like they belonged, for the ones who had the odds stacked against them, and for anyone who’s ever been told they couldn’t. no matter the setbacks, we rise together. we grow, we heal, and we prove to ourselves that fear ruins life — but discipline builds it.

if you’re reading this, remember: you are not your setbacks. you are not what people call you. you are not the cards you were dealt.
never apologize for being you.

..no but seriously my love for the gym is unmatched. this is my sanctuary and i wouldn’t want it any other way. you will ALWAYS find me in the gym.
