**Late post, because.....well life and maybe a little denial 😊**
August 21st Darin, Tyson, and I took off for the airport, driven by our amazing chauffeur @tommy_mccabe7. We were headed to Tucson to move Tyson in for his Junior year of college.
🌵🌞

I didn't get too many great pictures, maybe because my brain wasn't functioning well in the 100°+ weather. 🥵
Besides the normal unpacking and organizing, Costco and grocery runs, we got Tyson's Tahoe new tires and an oil change (thankful she's still running 🙌), and ate at some of our favorite places. 🌮🍔🧁
The week went fast,, but we made some fun memories that included Tyson's girlfriend Abby and his roommate Henry. 🚲🚲🛍💅⛳

Though it's always bittersweet leaving a piece of my heart in AZ, I'm so thankful for the opportunities that Tyson has and am proud of how hard he works to pursue his dreams.

Have you ever had a chapter in your life close that left a hole in your heart?

About 10 years ago after unexpectedly finding success and building a beautiful community of women, I found myself facing health issues and a need to step away from something that I dearly loved.

At the time I didn't realize the emotional impact it would have and the dent it would put in my confidence. Though I am still connected to many of the women, it seemed that I had become invisible to others which took me by surprised.

Until recently I hadn't realized the full impact and grief that I was experiencing from the loss of relationships that I held dear to me.

Those who know me well know that I love connecting with people and love hearing their stories. Sharing in their life, celebrating their highs, and walking with and praying for them in their lows. The disconnect left me heartbroken and questioning myself.

Last November I took a leap and joined a new company in a new industry. I had doubts in the beginning, and wasn't sure I wanted to start over, but I sure am thankful that I did!

The last few days I spent time with a new community of women for a company conference/team retreat at Suncadia Resort. (Ironically where I went to my first retreat with my previous company). We learned about new products and systems, listened to each other's stories, ate amazing food, and laughed and cried together. The most fun was celebrating each other's victory's no matter how big or small, and seeing each woman grow in confidence and stand a little taller. This experience helped me realize how much I have missed and grieved the past ten years. It has also sparked an excitement and a new belief that I can do this again!

The last couple of years I have enjoyed crocheting these pumpkins for gifts. Several of my friends have encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and post them for sale.....so here I go! 🧡🍂🍁

Last spring Tyson qualified for the 101st AZ Men's Amateur Tourney which he had the honor to play in a couple of weeks ago. 🏜

After an early Sunday morning flight to PHX, we stopped for lunch at his favorite hidden gem, Karla's Tacos in Tempe, then headed to Seville Country Club for his 108° practice round. 🥵

On Monday Tyson joined 135 of the top golfers in Arizona for day 1 of stroke play. It was 110° when he teed off at 1:10pm (not sure how he acclimated so quickly). He shot one of the best rounds of his career and finished at -5! ⛳

Tuesday brought an early 7:40am tee time, and a solid round of 73. We had to watch the leaderboard till evening to see how the rest of the field would finish and if Tyson would make the cut into the round of 64 (matchplay). He did! 🎉

Wednesday at 8:50am Tyson teed off against a guy from Scottsdale who had a +4.1 handicap. After 5 holes Tyson was down 3. With tenacity and grit he battled back, and by hole 15 he had tied the match. He remained tied through 17, but his opponent ended up the victor on 18.

Words can't adequately express how proud I am of Tyson. Every time he steps on the course he inspires me, but even more so at this tourney. Just getting into this field was a big deal, Arizona golf is a different level. I'm so thankful that he had this opportunity and got to experience this awesome tourney that @azgolfassociation put on. 🏜⛳

Summer is flying by....please slow down! One of the highlights this year was having Darin's out of state family visit for a week at the end of June. His sister decided that we needed a family photo shoot, and I'm so happy that we made it happen. It's always a fun time when we're all together. Thank you @emily_cole7, you did an amazing job working with our crazy crew! 💕😘📷

A big piece of my ❤ was left in Tucson! So thankful for the time I got to spend with Tyson in AZ doing last minute prep for his freshman year at U of A. We shopped, ate delicious food, had late night swims, and dance lessons from Aunt Tara. Big sis joined us for part of the trip, we met up with his childhood buddy (now turned college rival), experienced a monsoon and amazing lightning shows. We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets and had a lot of fun and laughs setting up his new living space with his roommate and his family. Though I will miss him dearly, it was exciting to see him meeting new people and jumping in to college life even before I headed home. @tyson_arthur4 I know you are ready for this, so keep your eyes on Jesus and let Him lead you to the next big thing!
