Hi! I‘m Lorena, nice to meet you!🫶🏼

I was born and raised in Switzerland and grew up being a really shy, insecure, curious and creative child. Constantly creating (painting, sewing, crafting), my focus soon shifted towards fashion.

My teenage years were spent admiring the creations of big fashion houses and dreaming of a future in fashion. Reality and insecurity led me to believe that living this dream just wasn‘t in the stars for me. With my dreams burried deep inside of me and the stress of adulthood getting to me, I stopped creating.

I got my teaching degree and started teaching in 2019. With the world coming to a full stop and me hitting rock bottom during the pandemic, I knew I couldn‘t continue without creating. In 2020, I found my creative outlet: crochet.

As you all can see, crochet changed my life (sounds dramatic, but it‘s true): Not only did creating free my head from many negative thoughts, making my own clothes that fit me gave me an insane confidence boost. I started sharing my work online (strictly to sell it in the beginning) and soon found a wonderful community. I realized that people not only were interested in my designs, but also in me as a person.

And this community, you, led to this wonderful synergy: The more I create, the more I share and the more I can feel that it can make a difference, the more ideas I have.

As much as I love teaching, it‘s a lot of responsability and can be quite stressful. It became frustrating to not be able to let my creativity flow freely, I started to earn more money on here and finally decided to give myself one year.

One year full of creativity, creating content and traveling. Very dumb from financial persoective, but absolutely the right call for me.

So, let‘s see what happens, shall we?✨

day 3 - tang inspired top

This was one of my faves this summer and good news is that you can still wear this in fall with a coat hehe💫

Could also look cute layered with one of those boat neck tops (mine are from intimissimi)!

Also working on a more fall/ winter version with long sleeves and a zipper next👀

Good news is: Once you start looking at these and pay attention to them, it‘s quite easy to fix them👀

And before you know, you‘ll be wearing your crochet pieces non stop🫶🏼

Slowing my mornings down has made THE BIGGEST change for me recently💫

So if you have the privilege to give yourself some time in the morning, even it it‘s just 15 minutes, you might want to slow things down a bit🫶🏼

(it does unfortunately work better than „everything must be done before I can rest“, at least for me)
