POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
year two of staff training🩵

these weeks have been so, so sweet. the Lord has done more in me than i think i’ll ever be able to put into words. there have been so many hard moments—learning a completely new instrument, wrestling through fears and anxieties, and fighting through the things the enemy has tried to throw at me—but even in the hardest parts, the Lord has been so faithful.

He’s been reminding me that He has me. in every detail. in every unknown. in every step of this ministry journey. nothing is accidental, and no step is outside of His hands. He has me exactly where He wants me, and He has been so intentional in bringing me here.

through a battle that i never would have chosen, He has taught me what it looks like to surrender—not just once, but over and over again. to give Him my fears, my anxiety, my burdens, my need to understand, and simply live in the freedom that He has already given me. surrender doesn’t mean the road ahead will be easy or without struggle. it means that i don’t have to fight alone. the battle belongs to Him, and He is fighting on my behalf.

and somehow, in the middle of all that, He has given me a team that feels like such a gift. people who love Jesus and love others so genuinely and well. i’m so thankful for the laughter, the hard conversations, the growth, the worship, the late nights, and all the moments in between.

so grateful for these weeks. grateful for what the Lord has taught me, grateful for what He has done, and even more grateful that this is only the beginning. by @lorenfields_

semester two 💌

i genuinely don’t know how to put this year into words. somewhere between the long drives, late nights, early mornings, inside jokes, skit practices, worship sessions, deep conversations, coffee runs, long conferences, and everything in between these people became so much more than just a ministry team to me. they became some of my favorite people, my biggest encouragers, and truly like family.
this semester stretched me in so many ways. there were moments that were exhausting, emotional, challenging, and overwhelming, but there were also moments that reminded me so clearly of God’s faithfulness. over and over again, He showed me that He can work through every circumstance, every weakness, every small act of obedience, and every willing heart. i’ve learned what it looks like to serve even when i feel inadequate, to lean on God’s strength instead of my own, and to love people more intentionally because of the example this team has set.
im overwhelmed thinking of all the memories we made together. the laughter that made our stomachs hurt, the conversations that lasted way too late, the moments of prayer, the chaos of traveling together, and the countless ways we got to watch God move in peoples lives and in our own hearts. getting to serve alongside people who love Jesus so deeply has changed me more than i can explain.
it’s hard knowing this season is over. i hate that goodbyes are a part of growing, and it’s so sad not knowing when i’ll get to see some of these people again. i think that’s what makes this so meaningful though…these friendships mattered deeply. this year mattered deeply.
i’ll be forever grateful for every mile traveled, every lesson learned, every prayer prayed, every hard conversation, every memory, and every person who made this year what it was. God has used this season to grow me, humble me, challenge me, and remind me again and again of His goodness.
i wouldn’t trade this year for anything. thank you Jesus for letting me be a part of something so special, and thank you to this team for loving so well. i already miss it more than words can say 🤍 by @lorenfields_

semester one recap 💛

looking back at these past few months, i’m honestly just overwhelmed with gratitude. this semester was far from easy, but traveling with this team made every challenge worth it. we shared long days on the road, late-night laughs, deep conversations and moments that stretched all of us in the best ways.
somewhere along the way, this group stopped being just a team and became a second family. they encouraged me, pushed me, prayed with me, and made room for me on days i didn’t have much to give. i’ve grown so much because of the people in these pictures and the opportunities we’ve had together.
we made so many memories, some chaotic, some hilarious, some healing, and i wouldn’t trade any of it. i’m going to miss them like crazy over break, but i’m already excited for all the joy, growth, and adventures waiting for us in semester two. thankful beyond words for the way God has allowed me to step into this season and grow through it. by @lorenfields_

“speechless before his glory”
tonight, i looked up —
and the sky was glowing with wonder.
the stars shimmered like distant fires,
and red light rippled across the dark —
like heaven had decided to breathe warmth into the cold.
i could hear Him whispering,
“do you see this?
this beauty that stretches beyond what you can hold?
it’s a sign of My faithfulness.
you’re going to be okay.”
and suddenly,
i was still —
small, but not forgotten.
just a breath beneath the vastness of His wonder,
yet somehow known,
completely seen,
completely loved.
speechless before His glory.
every breath a reminder of His wonder.
every flicker in the sky
a promise that His light still breaks through the night.
so i’ll keep looking up —
because when the world feels heavy,
the heavens still declare what my heart forgets:
He is faithful.
He is near.
and He is still painting the sky
just to tell me —
i’m going to be okay. by @lorenfields_

staff training highlights 🤍

these past few weeks in Michigan have been full of growth, challenges, and so much learning. i’m reminded that God doesn’t call the equipped; He equips the called. this season has shown me just how true that is. i’m learning to lead with confidence, not because i have all the answers, but because God is giving me the strength along the way. i’ve seen what it looks like to serve kids with love and intentionality, to lean on God’s strength when mine falls short, and to build meaningful community with an amazing team. we leave tomorrow for our first conference, and i’m excited and ready to see how God will continue to work through us this year. i’m so thankful for the journey so far and full of hope for what’s ahead. by @lorenfields_

8/20/25: the day i was saved
“Now I Am”
I used to think I knew Him.
I knew the prayers,
knew the verses,
knew how to look “saved.”
But deep down?
I was lost.
Still wandering, still wondering,
Still afraid to say—
“What if I never really knew Jesus?”
I got baptized young.
Said the right words,
Followed the motions,
Played the part.
But I didn’t give Him my heart.
Not really.
And I kept that doubt
Like a secret wound.
Smiling wide while bleeding quiet.
Hiding fear behind faith-flavored phrases.
Because when you grow up in the light—
You feel ashamed to admit
you’re still in the dark.
But God.
He saw me.
He saw past the performance.
Past the polished.
Past the “perfect Christian girl”
I tried so hard to be.
He heard the questions
I was too afraid to ask.
He caught every tear
I never let fall.
And He didn’t turn away.
He whispered in the silence:
“Child, come home.”
And for the first time—
I did.
I let go.
Of pretending.
Of pressure.
Of performing.
I let Him in.
Not because I had to.
But because I wanted to.
Because I finally saw Him—
Not just as a Savior for someone else,
But as a Savior for me.
“You will seek me and find me
when you seek me with all your heart.”
—Jeremiah 29:13
And I found Him.
Or maybe…
He found me.
So no,
this isn’t a rededication.
This isn’t a do-over.
This is a resurrection.
I was dead—
Now I’m alive.
I was pretending—
Now I’m free.
I was unsure—
Now I believe.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”
—2 Corinthians 5:17
And I am.
This is my story.
Not polished.
Not perfect.
But real.
Today, I was baptized.
Not because I had to check a box.
But because I checked my heart.
And I found Jesus living there.
So let the water testify:
That I once was lost—
But now, I’m found.
I once was blind—
But now, I see.
No longer trying to measure up.
No longer hiding behind religion.
No longer playing a part.
Jesus has all of me.
The doubts.
The darkness.
The brokenness.
The fear.
And He called it redeemed.
I am not the same.
I was never truly saved before—
But now, I am.
Forever. by @lorenfields_
