Anything you’ve seen over the last two years from güdPPL had Steve’s thumbprint on it. I’d often tell people “I have the best photographer in Chicago” and I meant it wholeheartedly. Beyond his talent and skillsets, Steve was a beautiful individual. He was intelligent, had a great sense of humor with a contagious laugh, generous, compassionate, and thoughtful. And absolutely no ego, a very humble person despite being immensely talented. Anyone that knows me knows how serious I take my creative endeavors and my business. Steve handled güdPPL with care as if it were his own. I can never thank him enough for what he did for us.. the new heights we were able to achieve with his contributions. Even outside of the brand, Steve shot our wedding.. delivering us timeless photos that my family and I will forever cherish. Whatever the occasion, I knew he had me. I thank God He saw fit for us to cross paths. Thankful for the advice, the thought provoking conversations, thankful for your patience and your willingness to teach me and ultimately the work we were able to do together. There will never be another quite like Steve. Love you güd brother. by @lorenzobeach

“Have you ever seen Juice?” Had an idea for a DJ battle sometime last year. Was just wanting to do something not solely focused on clothes.. We threw a lot of parties and events back in college and I wanted to get back to that under GPFH. I’ve always loved that scene from Juice where they use the DJ battle as an alibi & often times I listen to DJ sets while I’m designing. Wanted to combine both those elements. Voila. Very grateful for Danny. From the jump he was down and such a great collaborator. Throughout our planning, I was inspired by his work ethic, attention to detail and over all skill set, especially as a graphic designer. From the flyer/t-shirt design, photos, etc. Very talented individual, the battle wouldn’t have been the same without him. Equally as grateful for the DJs who were willing to take a chance on Danny and myself. Everyone performed wonderfully. & thank you to everyone who came out to support. Was blessed with the opportunity to run a screen printing workshop for @peprallytakeover and @hotrod065’s Secret Santa event. Glad to partner with all the organizations involved. Serving the city (specifically the youth) was at the heart of the event and I believe it was executed beautifully. Also, just want to express my gratitude to my wife for always being willing to roll up her sleeves and partner with me in my projects and endeavors. ep. 5 (1/2) - GPFH Yankee Fitted (anything is possible) Released the hat a couple weeks back and it’s been one of my favorite campaigns we’ve shot thus far. The hat itself is sick - I did my best to not solely relay on the iconic Yankee insignia to carry the design. The small supporting details (house where the MLB logo would be, aim for the stars patch on the side) are my favorite parts of the hat. but the aNYthing is possible is at the forefront of the design and rightfully so. It’s not just a nice phrase for me. It’s a note-to-self (& to you) to keep going, nothing is out of reach. Entire campaign was captured by Steve Connor who’s been one of the best collaborators.
