*Savienojumi (Connections)

Exploring what happens when we give people and objects the space and time to become connected to us.
What if the connection would be visible(?) In which colours/materials it would be covered?
And what happens when one of the other one gets tangled or loosened…
Where do they begin and where we can cut those oﬀ?
Does connection make us fully alive and why so many of those have its endings and beginnings(?)
Crocheted thread giving the idea of fragility and transparency while the metal rings creates the balance. Neither of those materials functions in the same way without the other one. Connection breaks/changes when the life surroundings moves.
The tension from one ring to the other one, depending on its distance creates a connection which is a chain reaction. So if one of them gets less of the tension, it creates the imbalance into the whole chain of rings.

Knowing one person, shapes how I connect with someone else, by every relationship influencing one another.
And by putting the crochet sculpture down it fades into one circle. It gets back to the beginning where it started, reminder that every ending folds back into its beginning. Cause life is on going process. It’s like a never ending spiral.
It comes along as standing still object. Object where words and emotions are weaved in, combining nostalgia and living through the moments.
The strength of going through numbness and working not against it but with it. In silence and letting it flow and trusting the process. It’s like a rollercoaster ride. by @loretarogule

Freestyle crochet headpiece, with fluffy and cotton yarn mixture, made with loops, so it’s possible to pull strands of hair through it.

Look no.3

Before making the crochet hat, I already had an idea for crochet tights.
I’ve made crochet pants before, but those were much more playful and fun. This time, I wanted to explore something more elegant—lacy and transparent. I worked by crocheting in different directions, using longer and finer stitches to give a lacy touch.

This look began as a bikini, but the process of going with a flow took it over.
Making without a final plan —first a bra then panties, eventually growing into a one-piece.
And exploring through stitch size and yarn: delicate crochet meeting chunky textures.

Look no. 1

My very first crochet bodice. No sketch, no plan—just yarn and my gut feeling.
I followed the pattern and its randomness, without even knowing what it might become. Somehow, it found its way into a bodice.
