📍Caminito del Rey, Malaga, Spain

✨The walkway is one-way, meaning that once you’ve reached the end, you need to either walk back or take the shuttle bus to where you have left your car.

✨Don’t forget to bring plenty of water or sports drinks, sun cream (particularly in the summer) and a snack, such as energy bars or fruit.

✨The walkway is absolutely safe and instead focus your attention on the incredible views!

„Mama, pe unde ne-am plimbat când eram mică?” 🥹✈️

I think Switzerland has a way of making you stop and look around. 🤍

But sometimes the most beautiful places aren’t the ones you see all over your feed.

Amden was one of those discoveries for me.

A small mountain village overlooking Lake Walensee, surrounded by dramatic Alpine peaks, quiet roads and some of the kind of views that make you wonder how a place can look this beautiful in real life.

What I loved most was the feeling of it.
It wasn’t about rushing from one viewpoint to another or trying to see everything in a few hours.

It was about walking, looking up, stopping for the view and simply enjoying being there.

And that’s exactly why I’d recommend adding Amden to your Switzerland itinerary — especially if you love scenic places but want something a little quieter and less obvious.

✨ Save this for your next Switzerland trip.

And tell me: would you visit Amden?

The Swiss village that feels like a secret.

Amden sits above Lake Walensee, surrounded by dramatic mountains. The combination of alpine scenery and the deep blue lake below makes almost every viewpoint feel unreal.

Amden is the kind of place where you can simply walk around, breathe in the mountain air and enjoy the scenery without needing a packed itinerary.

From Amden, you get those spectacular views over Walensee, framed by steep mountain slopes. And honestly, the contrast between the turquoise-blue water and the mountains is even better in person.

If you love the famous Swiss landscapes but prefer places that feel a little less overwhelming, Amden is worth putting on your list. The scenery is just as impressive, but the atmosphere feels peaceful and local.

It’s easy to overlook when planning a Swiss trip, especially compared with more famous destinations. But that’s exactly why I loved it — beautiful landscapes without feeling like you’re following everyone else.

Some places feel even more magical in autumn.

Wandering through Veliko Tarnovo, surrounded by golden leaves, winding streets, and centuries of history, feels like stepping into a storybook.

Built across hills overlooking the Yantra River, this Bulgarian gem is the kind of place where you can slow down, explore without rushing, and let the beauty of the moment do the talking.

Some destinations impress you with what you see. Others stay with you because of how they make you feel. 🤎

Some places give you memories.
Gran Canaria gave me moments I wish I could bottle. 🌅

Mostly sunsets, golden skies, ocean views and those quiet seconds when you stop, look around and think: how lucky am I to be here?

Grateful for every road that led me here, every sunset I got to see, and every little moment that reminded me how beautiful this world is. 🤍

If I could keep one thing from this trip, it would be these moments.

Noto feels like someone turned Sicily into a movie set. 🇮🇹✨

Golden Baroque buildings, dramatic balconies, quiet little streets and that warm stone that seems to glow when the sun hits it.

My favourite thing? You don’t really need a plan here. Just walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, look up at Palazzo Nicolaci, stop for a granita and let yourself get lost for a while.

And if you’re visiting Sicily, I’d definitely put Noto on the list — especially around golden hour. 🤌🏼

Switzerland has the Alps, the lakes… and a giant circular fortress hiding above the rooftops. 👀

Meet Munot, Schaffhausen’s 16th-century fortress — built in a striking circular shape and overlooking the old town, vineyards and the Rhine.

And the best part? You don’t need a huge hike or a full day to explore it. Just climb up, wander through the old stone corridors, take in the views and imagine what this place looked like centuries ago.

It’s the kind of place that makes you wonder: how many incredible corners of Switzerland are we still walking past? 🇨🇭
