A trip into town for errands today, with a full-on thunderstorm at the end. On our way home, we had to wait for the turkeys to cross the road.

So, we took a break from cabin projects, jumped in John's restored Jeep, and went to Deckers to eat at The Hangout. Oops, only day they are closed. But got some great photos, pizza and an ice cream bar. Back to work building gates for the fencing going up tomorrow.

Started a mini garden using plants and rocks from the yard.

Found some of my mini garden accessories to add some interest.

I'll be looking for some more plants with color. But it is very dry here, and cactus works best. Even tho I said no more pricky plants 😉

Today's indoor triathalon. Shuffleboard (I suck), Darts (pure skill 🎯 😀), and billiards (victory via John's scratch, but I had no balls remaining). This is the way to beat 112°...started with Pickleball this morning at 6:45am. I think I'll finish my day with an evening cool down in the pool.
